DATATAG GO FOR GOLD AT CPA CONFERNCE

Datatag has today announced that the company will be a gold sponsor at the annual CPA Conference, which this year will be held at a new venue, The Heart of England Conference Centre, Coventry on November 9th.

Datatag will display their innovative, security system MicroCESAR, as well as the well-known official CESAR Scheme. MicroCESAR was launched to deal with the growing issue of small tool theft and it also offers a mobile enabled asset management system. This latest addition to the CESAR Scheme has already been adopted by STIHL for their range of cut-off saws.

MicroCESAR features state of the art Datatag security marking technology which gives each piece of equipment a unique and permanent ‘fingerprint’ that thieves simply cannot remove. Using the combination of a unique Datatag RFID transponder and a tamper proof warning/registration label, with an integrated QR code, MicroCESAR provides the police with a quick and easy verification of ownership without the need for special equipment or lengthy laboratory testing.

As an added bonus, the Datatag technology used in the MicroCESAR system can also be used to assist in stock management, helping to track equipment in and out of jobs and allowing access to user manuals through the unique QR code and mobile enabled MicroCESAR website.

Datatag will also exhibit the official CESAR Scheme, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary. The official CESAR Scheme, like MicroCESAR, is owned by the Construction Equipment Association (CEA) and is powered by Datatag technology.

The CESAR Scheme, which now protects over 250,000 pieces of equipment, was launched in 2007 to protect larger construction and agricultural equipment and includes the now familiar triangular CESAR ID plates, RFID tags, Datatdots and forensic DNA solution. Datatag operate a 24x7 call centre to support all their systems including MicroCESAR and CESAR which the police and other law enforcement agencies can use to establish the identity and ownership of registered equipment.
