DATATAG - THE POWER BEHIND THE AMCA CHAMPIONSHIPS

AMCA MX1/MX2 Motocross Championship

The AMCA Championship has a long and proud history acting as a breeding ground for some of the best motocross talent this country has produced. In recent years the championship has grown in stature as a number of riders that have come through the Association ranks have matured along with a steady of influx of top riders from other governing bodies.

The depth of talent in both the MX1 and MX2 classes is arguably the strongest it's been making for close, exciting racing. There has been a knock-on effect too in the IMBA series as the AMCA has performed strongly on the International stage.

Qualification

The top 30 finishers in the MX1 & MX2 Classes automatically qualify for the following years Championship. Area qualifiers are organised in March/April for those riders who did not finish in the top 30 and for new riders wishing to try and qualify.
